It stars Charlize Theron (who also produced) as Wuornos, and Christina Ricci as her semi. The film is about serial killer Aileen Wuornos, a street prostitute who murdered seven of her male clients between 19 and was executed in Florida in 2002.

What it succeeds at is keeping the audience intrigued, and delivering enough on its premise to distinguish itself from the monster drama, most notably, what would it be like to live with such creatures as an accepted fact? In other words, what would containment vs. Over the course of 'Monster Movie,' the shape-shifting baddie Sam and Dean battle turns into three classic movie monsters: a mummy, a werewolf, and a vampire, in this case named as Dracula. Monster is a 2003 American biographical crime drama film written and directed by Patty Jenkins in her feature directorial debut. The political themes are anything but subtle, but also easy to ignore due to their superficial stupidity. But that movie was handed to John Frankenheimer, and became one of the shoddiest monster movies ever made. The story focuses too much on a supposed budding chemistry between its two stars, which feels false and a bit clichéd. The Water Horse (2007) PG 112 min Adventure, Family, Fantasy. The film's cast is adequate, but there is some stilted acting. The alien involvement in this movie is a little over the top or poorly written, but the monster fights between Godzilla and Rodan, and of course King Ghidorah, Godzilla, Rodan, and Mothra are very enjoyable to witness on the screen. It's a great looking film, and never feels cheaply staged. The film has deficiencies as far as casting talent and writing, yet Edwards is able to effectively mask those with crisp direction, combined with surprisingly effective visuals. Upon watching Monsters, one is struck by the mature and highly competent direction of Gareth Edwards. It's an interesting premise, executed with mixed results. Upon the crash of a probe upon re-entry, half of Mexico becomes quarantined, in a joint effort by the US and Mexican militaries to contain the monsters. Set six years after the discovery of possible alien life, the film explores the ramification of transplanted alien life on Earth. For a low-budget attempt at a monster blockbuster, Monster's isn't half bad.
